Return Policy

Effective date: August 13, 2026

Lake Hills Pharmacy applies three different rules depending on what you bought and where you bought it. Prescription medications cannot be returned. Supplements and other consumable products can be returned only if they are unopened and unused, and the remedy differs between online and in-store purchases.

1. Prescription medications

Prescription medications cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once they have been dispensed and have left the pharmacy.

This is not a preference. State and federal drug supply requirements prohibit a pharmacy from returning a dispensed medication to its inventory. Once a medication leaves our custody, we cannot verify how it was stored, handled, or transported, and a medication we cannot verify can never be dispensed to another patient.

If the problem is ours, we will make it right at no cost to you. Contact us within 7 days of delivery, or as soon as you notice the issue, if:

• We dispensed the wrong medication, strength, quantity, or directions.
• The medication arrived damaged, or the container was compromised.
• A refrigerated or temperature-sensitive medication arrived warm or with an exhausted cold pack. Report this within 24 hours of delivery and do not use the medication until you have spoken with a pharmacist.

In these cases we will replace the medication at no charge, including shipping. Where a refund is appropriate, a pharmacist will review the circumstances with you directly.

Do not mail medications back to us. Do not return any medication unless a pharmacist has authorized the return and given you instructions. Never mail controlled substances to the pharmacy.

Safe disposal. To dispose of medication you no longer need, use an authorized take-back location or follow the disposal guidance published by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Call us and a pharmacist will help you find the nearest option.

2. Supplements and other consumable products bought online

• Unopened and unused, in the original sealed manufacturer packaging, with proof of purchase, within 30 days of delivery: eligible for a refund to the original method of payment. Original shipping charges are not refunded.
• Opened or used: cannot be accepted. Once a supplement has been opened, we cannot verify its contents or its condition, so we cannot accept it back.
• Damaged, incorrect, or defective on arrival: contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photograph of the item and its packaging. We will replace it or refund it in full, and we cover return shipping.
• Refrigerated or temperature-sensitive supplements: not returnable under any circumstances, for the same reason described in section 1.
• No restocking fee.
• Products bought from another retailer, marketplace, or clinic cannot be returned to Lake Hills Pharmacy.

3. Supplements and other consumable products bought in our store

• Unopened and unused, in the original sealed manufacturer packaging, with your receipt, within 30 days of purchase: we will exchange the item or issue store credit.
• Opened or used: cannot be accepted.
• Refrigerated or temperature-sensitive supplements: not returnable.
• Store credit is issued to the original purchaser and may be applied to any future purchase at Lake Hills Pharmacy.

4. Recalled products

If a product you bought is recalled or withdrawn, we will replace it or refund it at no cost to you, regardless of how much time has passed, whether the package has been opened, or which rule above would otherwise apply. Follow the instructions in the notice you receive, or call us and we will walk you through it.

5. How to start a return

A pharmacist is available Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, and Saturday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Central.

Have your order number or receipt ready and tell us which item is affected. To protect your privacy, please do not include health information in email. If your question concerns a medication, call us instead.

Returns are accepted only with prior authorization. If we authorize a return, we will provide the return address and instructions at that time.
